May also know as Haruka in Japan, is a young energetic Coordinator!
A Pokemon Coordinator is a Pokemon trainer who trains thee Pokemon to show off it's own beauty. So May started out traveling through various regions, and competing in Pokemon contest. She started out in the Hoenn region accompanying Ash, and Brock along with her little brother Max.
Biography: May is a Coordinator from Petalburg City, also the daughter of the Petalburg City gym leader, Norman and a sister of Max her little brother. She meets Ash Ketchum in the Hoenn region. After obtaining her first Pokemon Torchic as for her first Pokemon, and Squirtle as her first Kanto Pokemon! She has a couple of rivalries Drew, and Harley, and Jessie from Team Rocket. ( Harley is a boy ) May travels on to win many contest. May is mostly a very sweet, fun-loving, caring, kind-hearted, and a brave person. But some times she is really confident person. But at certain times she can have a tougher side. May loves cute Pokemon and flashy moves, and competing in contest! She makes her own Pokeblock there called, "Mays Purple Surprise" , and "May Pink Surprise". All tho Munchlax is the only one of her Pokemon who will eat it. When she first saw a Pokemon Coordinator contest she decided to become one. Even tho she is not fond of bug type Pokemon, she had to get over her fears and rise a Wurmple into a Beautifly.
Meet Drew!
Drew also know as Shu in Japan is a Pokemon Coordinator! Mays biggest rival! Hes home town is LaRousse City. he first appears in the episode, Pokemon Advanced Challenge Now That's Flower Power! Drew is portrayed to be confident, critical, and popular among his supporters! All tho he is not as over insulting as Ashes rival Gary. Drew is some what polite. In hes second appearance hes hair style is a little different. Mainly when he greets ( Also know as his signature greeting ) is a hair flick in a some what charming manner... He usually keeps his hands in his pockets witch is quite lazy and casual. Hes more polite than girls and very gentle to be quite honest.
Biography: May and her friends met Drew when May was practicing with her Beautifly on a beach near SaltPort City. Despite the cutting remarks and attitude, witch also tend to anger May, He is not mean and does not tease May. He does it to push her to become a better Coordinator. The skill Drew has been a continuing inspiration for May. His first battle with May he used his dearly loyal partner Roselia agents Mays Beautifly. But because Team Rocket interfered in there battle May called the battle off. Later on in the episode Win, Lose, or Drew. He entered a Pokemon contest he beat May's Beautifly with his Roselia. But than got beat by Robert and his Milotic. He returns in the episode, Pros And Cons Artist, Competing in the Fallarbor Town contest. Witch is where May is also competing. May found out that he had already won 3 contest ribbons. Just a day before the contest started Ash challenged Drew to a Pokemon battle. While Drew used his partner Roselia and Ash used his Taillow. Sadly Ash lost. During the contest he was matched up agents Grace a friend of Mays. Sadly he lost to her Medicham. At the end Drew congratulates May for winning, by giving her a rose claiming it was for her Beautifly. He later repeated this in other episodes. By some people it was a hint towards a romantic relationship between them. In the episode a Fan With A Plan!, Drew is assaulted by a fan club of MPP, in a Pokemon center in Rubello Town. Before the contest, May sees Drew practicing outside with his new Pokémon, Masquerain. Drew wins his fourth ribbon on experience defeat using his Roselia in the first round, and his Masquerain in the second. Notably, Drew is second in the Grand Festival in Hoenn in, Rhapsody In Drew! He defeats May in the quarterfinals with his Flygon and Roselia, but loses to Robert in the finals.In the Kanto Contests, Drew is often seen even at contests in which he is not competing; it is hinted that he comes to support May. He frequently helps May, Ash, Brock, and Max out of traps and tricks prepared by Team Rocket and Harley. Drew also revealed in May, We Harley Drew'd Ya! who has been training an Absol for the Kanto Grand Festival. During the Kanto Grand Festival, he loses to May, who is ultimately defeated by Solidad. In The Unbeatable Lightness of Seeing!, he reveals that he will be traveling to Johto to participate in competitions there. Though May and Drew are still rivals, Drew nonetheless becomes less insulting towards May and more kind and friendly as time goes on.
Meet Ash!
Ash also know as Satoshi is the main character of Pokemon! He always dreamed about being a Pokemon master. Soon as he hit the age of ten he headed out to get his first Pokemon. When he arrived at Professor Oak's lab all the Pokemon where taken. But only one was left. he ended up with Pikachu the electric mouse Pokemon. But his new partner wasn't very fond of him at that time. Pikachu would always give him a hard time. Pikachu would always use Thunderbolt on Ash, and did not like Poke balls. One day Ash wanted to catch his first Pokemon. But it didn't turn out so good. When he hit Spearow in the head with a rock it got really angry. Than a hole flock of Spearows chased after them. Ash was determent to protect his new partner. After that Pikachu started to have a lot of trust in him. And they started to become great friends! He started his journey while meeting and traveling with Brock, and Misty. While catching a hole lot of Pokemon! Once he beat all the Kanto gym leaders, allowing him to enter in the Pokemon league! He continued traveling with Brock until he met Tracey, May, Max, and Dawn. He began to battle any gym leader he comes upon while traveling with his friends all over the Pokemon universe!

Ash also won the Heat Badge, from Flannery, the Balance Badge from Norman (who happens to be May and Max's father) and a feather badge from Winona.
